Our undiscovered region of South West France is awash with hilly rides, hidden villages, bucolic views - and all important cafes and boulangeries, perfect for pitstops.
Manoir La Croix de La Jugie lies at the centre of a stunning web of quiet, tarmacked, routes on the Route Richard Coeur de Lion (yep, he’s from round here) as well as having plenty of other day-ride destinations that are well worth a vist, an added bonus to the stunning cycle en-route!
Bring your own bike or hire locally.
At just seven hours drive from Calais, it’s easy to bring your own bike with you by car, or hop on the Eurostar and train from Paris with it. Airlines will also carry bikes, of course and Limoges is our nearest airport at just 35 minutes from the Manoir.
We also have a brilliant hybrid bike rental supplier, who’ll deliver straight to the Manoir for your arrival. These are great for day rides from the house, but we can also help organise road bike hire depending on your fancy!
Self-guided or guided?
We offer both - we can offer suggestions and let you fly, or have a knowledgeable guide talk you through the routes. There’s also the option to have a guide with you for the week, taking you out on each ride and showing you the way, leading you to your well-earned lunch spots!
